I'm almost done with all the Christmas stuff and now I'm just waiting for more snow so we'll hopefully have a white Christmas.

Snow

I'll entertain you with some snowy pics.

It snowed almost non-stop for three days so now everything is just white, white, white. And I love it. Last year was so dark and wet that I really hope that this year this snow is going to last.

The roads were h#ll to drive though and if it gets warmer and all this snow starts to melt, everything's going to first be so slushy and then slippery when it's going to get cold again. But hopefully it won't happen.

And a little video taken in our front yard.

It's not even a year after this happened for the first time and now there was another.
It's nice to see your country mentioned internationally but this is not the way I want it to happen.

My thoughts are with all the people who were affected by this tragedy.

Baby news

I've been away from the net for a while but I have a good reason. :)

Last thursday at 9.15 pm I had a little baby boy.
He's 52 cm and 3,6 kg. He's such a little angel and even though Joona wanted a baby sister, he's really happy of his little brother. :)

Everything went fine with the labor and both me and the baby are feeling just great. We're getting used to the home life so my comments and responses to posts may come a bit late but I'll get to it all when things turn to normal again. :)

That's all for now, just wanted to let you guys know. I'll post some pictures some time later.

Baby news and other stuff...

On the baby news front... My due date came and went and there's still no sight of the baby. :)
I'm just waiting excitedly for any sings but so far nothing major. And if there's still no sings at the end of next week then the nurse is going to send me to hospital and see if they're going to start the labor there.
But that's what they had to do when I was pregnant with Joona so that's nothing new to me.
Instead, normal labor would be new to me. :D
But we'll see what happens before next week...

On the other stuff....
I got my James cd today!!!!! YAY!! Haven't had much time to listen to it yet but what little I've heard, I've liked so far. Because... it's James. What's not to like. :)
Still wish I could have gone to Cardiff but... I'll be busy with more bigger stuff at that time. :)

Everything and nothing

My gosh... It's been forever since I've posted anything in here....

Well, what can I say... nothing earth shattering hasn't been happening. But I remember that when I announced about 7 months ago that I was pregnant, I promised to keep you updated on my happenings but since then, I've posted nothing about it. And I'm sure that not all of my f-list even saw that post all those moths ago. Uppsss... ;D

But I'm happy to say that nothing major hasn't happened. Pregnancy's been going fine and now I only have two more weeks until the baby is due. I'm just little scared and excited at the same time. And lately I've just been feeling really tired and pretty much resting all the time. Haven't even commented much on my f-list posts.

Joona is taking his becoming a big brother like nothing is happening but we'll see how he reacts when the baby is actually here. :)

We haven't found out if it's going to be boy or a girl and Joona seems to be ok with either one... although he did actually once say to my mom that it should be a girl since I've already had one baby boy, so I don't need another one... :)
And he's got all the care details taken care of... He's going to take care of the baby, I'm going to take care of him and daddy's going to take care of our dog. :D

But that's about all that comes to mind right now about that subject.

Spring Fever report parts 2 and 3

It's taken me forever and I'm not sure if I can remember everything but I at least remember the most important parts so, here's my final report from Spring Fever events.
These are from Union Chapel gig and Collectormania.

So on Friday I arrived to the Union Chapel just minutes before we moved to the side of the building to queue. So I got lucky and got a little closer than I would have otherwise. And was standing behind jamalov29.

So after the queuing I got a seat next to jamalov29. The warm up Dan Akio was good and I had to buy his CD.

Then along came James...
Won't get to much details since everybody already knows about the gig but, as was expected, I really enjoyed it myself and was sad for it to end.
Could have listened to him all night long. :-D

But as I started to get out I said a brief hello to beanbeans. That was a nice little suprise to be able to spot her out of all the people there.

But because of my held back I managed to miss jamalov29 for the final goodbye, but hopefully we'll have a chance to meet sometime again, Caroline!

Now... A few pictures from Union Chapel...

And now... on the the Collectormania...
I was there on Sunday...

I managed to talk hubby into going with me so I didn't have to be there all by myself... Although, it was pretty much still the same since he doesn't care about James at all. :)

But.. we arrived there around ten thirty in the morning and walked around for a bit before it was time for me to star the queuing for the James photo-op and hubby went on his own way...

But there I was standing at the queue and starting to feel my nerves going crazy... But after awhile it was my time to take a picture with James. It was brief but really nice experience. My first time. :)
We said our hellos, James holding my hands the whole time:
James: Hey love
Me: Hi... (with a goofy grin on my face.)
James: How are you
Me: Fine... You.(still wearing that goofy grin)
James: I'm good
Me: (Goofy grin firmly in place)

Then we took our pose for the camera, James put his left arm around my shoulder and the right arm (which you can't see in the picture) was holding my left hand tightly around my stomach and my right hand was on his back and our heads were pressed together... (That is a moment that I still remember like it happened just minutes ago...) *dreamy sigh*
Then the photographer took the picture and it was time to let go... *sigh*
But still holding my hand James said it was nice to meet me and wished all the best and I did the same, then it was time for me to walk away...

Hubby was waiting for me on the other side and just looked at the expression on my face and shook his head. :)
There was a brief moment, then I started to queue for the photo-op for Charisma Carpenter... She was a nice lady and we took our picture then that's all for that...

After I just mingled with hubby and waited for my turn for the autograph by James... Won't get into that much... The brief chat that we had while he signed the photo is a private moment that I'll keep to myself. :) It's brief but really special to me, so I hope you don't mind.

The only thing left was waiting for the pictures to come, I was on cloud nine when I finally got my picture and had the proof that it had really happened... My face must have been wearing that goofy grin again. Have to ask hubby if it was. ;D

After that hubby walked me to the place where the Q&A was taking place.
I really enjoyed that too, but won't get into it more since I'm sure everyone already knows what was talked... Really enjoyed the interaction between James and Steve and Steve's summary after the talk was hilarius. :)

But that's all... I'll post a few pictures from the talk and my picture with James... (My pride and joy)

Finally I have enough time to post some of my pictures and feelings from the Spring Fever.
This first part contains Thursday night and my feelings about that... Won't post nothing too long since so many people have already read far better reports than mine's gonna be... But anyway.

Went to the Rich Mix center with jamalov29. It was great to share it with you, Caroline!!
So soon after the registration we were lead into the room and there was a little delay due to some people having trouble getting there because of some tube problems.
But we got to see a little movie made of a few chosen scenes from the play ‘Teechers’ that James did back on the QM in September. It was fun clip to see.

Then it was time for James to come in. He was dressed all black, gorgeous, hair all curly and cute. :)
He spoke to us a little bit about the play he was going to read.
The play was very entertaining and funny to watch James do three parts (2 women and a man), and the play itself was lovely and funny. I really enjoyed it. The way he can convey the feelings and emotions through his voice and facial expressions truly prove how much he is a stage actor. Very, very nice moment.

The there was the dinner raffle and a little break.
After that it was time for the concert.

It lasted about 45 minutes and it was a lovely way to spend it. :)
Won't post the set list since I'm sure everyone already knows what he sang.

But my favorites were:
Button Down Vandals - great song
Fall of night - One of my favorites, and he sang it in a heartfelt way.
Hold on son - A new one he's written for his son.
Like a waterfall - The way he sang this touches me like nothing else.

Of course, I loved all the songs but these were the favorites.

And all the songs showed how far he's come with his vocal skills. He's just getting better and better...

Then it was mingling time . He came in , looking healthy ,happy. He's so at ease, so comfortable with fans, not nervous at all. He was friendly , smiling, laughing .

I managed to get his attention for a few minutes and it felt so nice. :)
I got a hand kiss (thanks to jamalov29 since she got it first. :-) ) and got to give my gifts to him. He was sorry that he couldn't look at them right away but that it would take too much time to stop and look at all the gifts he gets. I told him that I understood, no problems about that. :)
It's just so great to look into those blue eyes so close.. this was my first time this close and I'll never forget it. :D
It was time for him to go to another bunch of persons and he left with a smile.

I also got to say hi to mad_brilliant_, it was nice to meet her too...

I mingled a bit and little bit later on was taking pictures near James and was really close by when he gave hugs to people and kind of found my way accidentally to his bath and got a second hug. He started to give the hug as he was moving at the same time, then stopped to look and said; I've already hugged you. But decided to give me one again anyway.
And have to say, didn't mind it at all. :-D

It was really lovely night and we left with jamalov29 almost at the same times as James. And like Caroline's already posted on her on LJ; we got to walk for a little while just behind him ,Steve and another person on the sidewalk , and that image struck me as something that represented perfectly James : a simple guy quietly walking down the street like any other man. I love that about him . He doesn’t behave like a star .
I second what she said and that's why I quoted her words and feelings. :)

But after this rather longish post, I'll put some pictures I took. Enjoy!!

Just a quick update to say that I'm back.
Don't have much time to anything else right now... Soon I'm off to pick up kid from my mom... Sure missed him a LOT!
But quick summary: I had a fantastic time. It was great to be in London and James was great and seemed really happy and relaxed and the gig's were amazing. Loved every minute of my time.
And it was really great to meet some of my LJ friends in person.

More to come soon. Little report and pic spam of sort.
But now I'm off to get Joona.
